This post is sponsored by Basic Invite, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. I only recommend companies and products that I have personally tried and loved.
As we near the end of September, we all know what that means… all the fun holidays are near! You might be thinking, isn’t it a little too early to start with the holidays? It might be, but that’s okay, hehe! Today, I'm sharing some of the prettiest stationery & invitations and some feminine holiday outfit inspiration. :)
With all the fun holidays, come all the fun gatherings. If you’re planning a gathering this year, let me tell you about Basic Invite. But first, what is Basic Invite? Well, anything and everything but basic! Basic Invite is a company that offers truly customizable invitations, stationery, and more.
It's honestly “sew” much fun choosing and picking out invitations and stationery.

And, if you want to take a pause before all the festive holiday stuff, then these adorable crafty halloween party invitations are for you. You can design them to be spooky or cute, or both. :)

It’s “Sew” Fun and Easy!
Okay, I’ll stop with the sewing puns, but it’s really fun picking out from the many different designs, fonts, and colors. It’s also super easy to design the perfect invitation on the Basic Invite site.
My custom stationery! I even got my little pink sewing machine logo on one of them. The quality and print is SO nice.
180+ Colors to Choose From
If you’ve visited my blog long enough, you know that I’m obsessed with pink and they had the loveliest shades of pink to choose from. Usually when invitations and stationery is “customizable,” there are only a few colors to choose from. But with Basic Invite, you have 180+ colors to choose from.
Custom Samples
This is fantastic! I am the kind of person that loves to see and touch something before fully committing to it. For example, I always like to order samples of fabric before ordering even a yard. Basic Invite lets you order a sample, so you can see the final result and feel the paper quality before committing to it.
Matching Envelopes in 40+ Colors
What’s the point of having the cutest invitation/stationery, if you’re sending it in a basic envelope? Instead, send it in a Basic Invite envelope (because by now, you’ll have guessed that they’re anything BUT basic!). There are 40+ different colors to choose from, so you’ll definitely find a pair for your invites/stationery. Oh, and all the envelopes are “peel and stick,” meaning you won’t have to ever lick an envelope again! (Or tackily put tape all over it, like I’ve maybe done once…or twice…)
Convenient Address Capturing Service
Want to send your friends and family this year’s family Christmas card, but don’t have everyone’s address easily available? Basic Invite has a super easy address capturing service. Simply share a link to your favorite social media site (Facebook, Instagram, etc) to request your friends and family’s addresses. Then, those addresses will be stored in your account and they can be selected during the design process. PS, address printing is available at no cost on all custom christmas cards!
Pretty Foil Designs
To make things even more festive, you can choose foil holiday cards. These are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. AND, you can choose from flat or raised foil designs. (Fancy!)
And speaking of the holidays, there are over 500 Christmas card and holiday pictures cards designs available, so you’ll definitely find something to match your event. If you'd like to get an early start on the holidays (or stick to these crafty halloween party invitations first), Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon

FEMININE HOLIDAY OUTFIT INSPO
And as promised, here is some feminine holiday outfit inspiration, for your fun holiday gatherings. Here is one from my very own closet:
For the holiday season, I tend to go for more textures and richer colors. Ever since last year, I've been loving velvet. Not only is it pretty, but it's also rich in texture and gives any outfit the perfect holiday vibe. One of my favorite colors to wear during the holidays is maroon, so for this holiday inspired outfit, I brought out my maroon Toms ankle booties. To top off my holiday look, I brought out a jeweled statement necklace, because the holiday season calls for glitz and glamour.
I know I'm not the only one missing Spring. I also know I'm not the only one who has a favorite Spring dress. There are always so many events during spring such as weddings, baby showers, graduations, etc that we buy dresses for. They don't have to stay hidden in the closet until next year though! I paired this gorgeous pastel spring wrap dress with nudes and pinks. The added textures were pearls and the faux fur purse.
Tip: Pair your favorite spring dress with a leather jacket and add some texture through your accessories.
Leopard print is so trendy right now, so I definitely wanted to include an outfit with leopard print. If you're all about comfort, but still love feminine fashion, pick a comfy cardigan and a stretchy pencil skirt as your base for your outfit. I picked out this textured pencil skirt to have an "elevated" basic piece. Afterwards, finish off your holiday outfit with a print. This outfit is definitely comfortable, but also feminine and trendy. Instead of heels, I opted for a fun leopard print mule.
Tip: Pick a comfy cardigan and stretchy skirt as a base for your cute and comfy look.
