Out of all the things I've refashioned and sewed, I had never made a scarf. I had two extra ruffles from this dress pictured below. I actually already made two things out of this dress. Check them out here and here. When I found this striped jersey fabric, I decided to play around with pattern mixing and make an infinity scarf.
STEPS
1. I cut out a piece of the striped fabric, the same length as the floral ruffle. I made it a little wider than the ruffle.
2. I cut another panel of striped fabric, this time the same width of the previous striped fabric and the ruffle. Afterwards, I sewed along the top (picture below), and closed it off as to make a tube. (Not pictured).
3. As a finishing detail, I added little black lace trim.
TA DA!
I loved how it turned out! :)
