How many times do you see someone post about coming back from a revival, or going to a revival?
These events are not bad, and I am not talking against these in any way.
After all, there is never a bad time to praise & worship God, or hear a Word of God.
Sometimes, God will even use these events to give our spirit a breath of fresh air.
The problem is when a person fully depends on these types of events, or just any certain moments/days, to feel a revival from God.

"Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?"
PSALM 85:6
"He will enliven us after two days; on the third day He will raise us up, and we will live in His presence."
HOSEA 6:2

In our Christian life, we may have dry seasons where we feel tired, desperate, and even near death.
The good news is that we can feel energized once again with through Christ, and only Christ.
"If we have the resurrected Christ, we are in the morning, the sunrising, and this is a real revival to us." (The Holy Word for Morning Revival: The Need for a New Revival, pg. 7)
