From Water to Wine...

John 2: 6-11

"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,"

JOHN 1:12

"For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus."

GALATIANS 3:26

The first bible verses mentioned in this post have to do with Jesus turning water to wine, at the wedding in Cana.

The second two, have to do with us being able to become children of God.

So, what do the two have in common?

He can change one thing into another, as He pleases!

He isn't obligated to call us His children, despite the fact that we turn our backs against Him everyday.

Yet, He still does. And it isn't even hard to become a child of God. 

It's as simple as believing in the Lord Jesus!

No rituals, doctrines, nor rules to follow, just JESUS!

Just like the water was made to wine (& a good wine too, because verse 10 says, "But you have kept the GOOD wine until now"), so are we, sinners,  made into sons & daughters of God.

& all you have to do to have that right is to BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, by FAITH we are children of God!
