My husband bought me this kimono/shawl/scarf (I don't really know what to call it!) a while ago. From the photo online it looked like a kimono, but when I received it, it looked as shown. It could be worn as an open kimono, shawl, or scarf. I wanted a closed kimono though, so 2 stitch lines later, I had what I wanted!
1. This was super easy. It could work if you have a big scarf or shawl you want made into a kimono.
I just sewed two lines as shown in the photo by the blue lines. The armholes (above the blue lines) measure 10.5".
TA DA!
